I remember staring into the TV watching Jacques Cousteau when I was a child. I think there the silent world grabbed me like a big red kraken and it never let me go. 

But only decades later I became a diver myself to enter that distant realm. 

I found my peace - and so much more - just a hand's breadth under the waves.
